PayFast or Ozow?
PayFast covers the most ways to pay, including cards, Instant EFT, Capitec Pay and SnapScan. Ozow is built around pay by bank at 1.5% a transaction, and also takes cards. We have integrated both, and a store can offer both.
Is a bank transfer checkout a good idea?
It costs nothing per sale, which suits low-margin products and customers who prefer EFT. The trade-off is time: the order waits until the money clears. Citrus Aura uses one, with a unique reference generated for every order so payments are easy to match.
Can I take a deposit for a booking?
Yes. The deposit is paid through PayFast or Ozow when the client books, and the booking records that it was paid.
